Winter Camp 2015

Our annual trip to Mt. Hood was different this year.  Instead of our normal 5+ feet of snow, we were greeted with dirt and rocks.  It is amazing to be at that elevation and not have snow.

The boys did a great job of making the best of the situation.  Shortly upon arrival they found the small stream and did their best to stay out of the water.  A few came back to camp with wet shoes.  This was not suprising at all.  Boys + water = someone getting wet.

The overnight temps were in the 30s and we survived the night.  This would be a good time to ask your son how the camp went and how they slept.  If they were too cold, what could they do differently next time? Would they bring different clothes?  Food? etc.

Here is a link to some photos from the campout.  I also took a few videos and I will get those posted soon.
